Alex for Wales: Congratualtions to Ton's Alex Lawless. Alex hit the back of the net on Friday 28th March, for Wales Under 18's v Scotland at Plas Kynaston, Cefn Mawr. The full list of scorers in Wales' 3 - 0 victory included Chris Rogers (Newport County), Alex Lawless (Ton Pentre), and Owain Whittaker (Llanelli). (31.03.03.)
It's at Jenner Park: It's been announced that Ton's Welsh Cup semi-final against Cwmbran Town will take place at the home of Barry Town, Jenner Park. Kick-off is 2.30pm. (22.03.03.)
It's Ton v Cwmbran: So, it's Ton Pentre V Cwmbran Town in the Welsh Cup semi-finals on April 5th. Ton will be hoping for a repeat of last season's quarter-final tie when the Rhondda side beat The Crows 3-2.
The venue for the eagerly awaited match has yet to be decided. Barry Town play Rhyl in the other semi.

Ton on the Telly: For those with digital television Ton Pentre will be featured on the BBC 2W series, "Into the Valley’s" on Monday 24 March at 9.45pm. It covers the climax to the clubs Welsh League title run-in at the end of last season. (16.03.03.)

Ton sign striker: Ton have signed striker, Alyn Jones, from Welsh Premier outfit, Port Talbot. Alyn marked his debut with two strikes in Ton's five goal demolition of Pontardawe on Saturday. (24.02.03.)
Ton handed another chance to progress: After Ton's late Welsh Cup win over Flexy's Cefn Druids on Saturday, the only non-Welsh Premier team left in the competition were offered an excellent chance of making into the Welsh Cup semi-finals. Welsh team manager, Mark Hughes and squad captain, Gary Speed, paired the Rhondda side with Welsh Premier outfit Oswestry Town, in yesterday's quarter-final draw.
The full draw is Aberystwyth Town v Barry Town, Bangor City v Cwmbran Town, Rhyl v Connahs Quay Nomads, Ton Pentre v Oswestry Town. Matches will take place on March 8th 2003. (11.02.03.)

Ton on the Telly: The BBC television series, "Into the Valleys" featuring Ton Pentre AFC, is to be screened on Monday March 17th 2003 on BBC2W at 9.45pm. Obituary: Our condolences on behalf of everyone connected with Ton Pentre AFC to all family and friends of the late Bill Davies, formerly of Union Street, Gelli, whom passed away peacefully at Rhondda Nursing Home in Ystrad, on Tuesday 17 December 2002, aged 85.
Bill was a lifelong Bulldogs supporter (and former team coach driver) and until ill health prevailed could always be found voicing his opinions from behind the goals at the River End Stand and afterwards in a similar fashion from within the clubhouse itself.

Richards denies Goytre approach: Ton manager Kevin Richards, has today dismissed any approach from Welsh league club, Goytre. He said that any interest they may have in his services are just rumour. (24.12.02.)

Ton Submit Premier Application: Ton have applied for entry to the Welsh Premier for next season. For the application to be sucessful the club's finances and stadium need to to reach a specified standard, plus of course, there's the little matter of retaining the league title. (11.12.02.)
